Zisa Dolls is a shared project to create your own dolls, in a collaboration between adults and children. The project is aimed at families, schools, associations, social enterprises, with particular attention to reception centers for migrants. A self-made doll can be, in fact, the best child transitional object, helping her/him to overcome a difficult moment. That's why Zisa dolls are not alluring, charming and fashionable, but thoughtful, emotional and human, like real children. Zisa dolls can be made entirely of felt or have head and hands 3D printed using PLA (non-toxic material); in the last case, if you do not have a 3D printer, you can go to a fablab. Tutorials and patterns are shared for free as long as they are not used for commercial purposes. In case of fairs or exhibitions participation, I ask to mention the Zisa Doll brand.
